Woodside + Snow

It snowed in Woodside last night! Here are a few photos  from around my house.

New York + Connecticut

(Last photo taken by my Uncle Fin)

In October, my family took a trip to New York and Connecticut to see the sights and visit my aunt and uncle. We took in as much as we could in the city that never sleeps: strolling through Central Park, a Broadway show, sipping cocktails at a “secret” speakeasy, late night ginormous desserts at Serendipity, the MOMA, kickin’ it in the lower east side. Then we got on the train at Grand Central Station and headed up to Connecticut to visit family, which was absolutely gorgeous with the golden colors and crisp country air. We hung out at Yale, hiked up the only waterfall in the state, found our way through a corn maze, and danced by a picturesque lake at sunset. I love my family and the east coast!

Sabine + Tanner

Sabine and Tanner were married on a gorgeous day in May at San Francisco City Hall with their families and closest friends. (Sabine’s parents, who live in Germany, surprised her and flew out for the ceremony the night before!) After the ceremony the bride and groom, along with their entourage, headed to a nearby restaurant for lunch and a little Dom Perignon. Then, we were off to the reception at Hotel Sofitel in Redwood Shores to celebrate with family and friends. It was everything the picture perfect wedding should be: laughter, tears of joy, good times, and great memories. It makes me so happy to see a couple like Sabine and Tanner who are so in love and so perfect for one another!

Kent Denim

I met up with San Francisco model and stylist, Michelle Ruiz, and her twin brother, Mike, to photograph Kent Denim jeans.  Designer Noah Landis has created simple yet stylish jeans fashioned from raw denim. They’re so awesome they don’t even need a label. Instead, Landis uses a signature strip of leather near the back pocket.  If I were a guy, I would rock these in a heartbeat!  Be sure to check out Michelle’s blog post at her site Modelina Michelle.

Update: This style shoot is also published on Sf Indie Fashion!  Check it out here.

Mona + Sherman

I am so excited to share these photos. Not only was this a beautiful, intimate ceremony at San Francisco City Hall; it was also the first wedding I shot with Flory Photo. Mona and Sherman looked stunning and stylish as we explored the city after the ceremony from the Mission, to Noe Valley, to Bernal Heights.  I am so happy I got to help them capture the memories of their special day and that I get to work with such amazing photographers!
